MJHS 2026-2027 Registration Checklist & Events Reminders
The purpose of this form is to provide all families with the mandatory and suggested pre-registration items to help expedite the process for all during our annual walk-through Bullpups Day!
Bullpups Check-In Day - Wednesday, August 5th:
6th grade/new students: 9:30-11:30am; 7th/8th grade: 3:30-5:30pm (multi-grade families are welcome to attend together).
This will be an opportunity to connect & prepare for the 26-27 school year! During the walk-through Bullpups Day, families will:
Confirm all district mandatory items are completed
Visit school and community events tables
Purchase school items including ASB stickers, PE clothes, Yearbook, school planner, etc.
2026-2027 class schedule pick up
*Chromebooks and Textbooks will NOT be distributed during Bullpups Day. Textbooks will be handed out in the first weeks of school and Chromebooks will be in classrooms*
Please note, 6th grade student orientation is on Wed, August 5th from 9am-12pm in the MJHS Gym (**STUDENT ONLY EVENT**)

Note: This should be completed before Bullpup Registration day on 8/5. Follow these detailed directions to complete process: Annual Data Confirmation
If you have not logged into Aeries Parent Portal before, please click "Forgot Password?" and enter the email address the school has on file for your contact information. All families, including those of new students, can use the "Forgot Password?" to reset their account. If you do not know the email address we have on file, please contact our office. This process must be completed in order to receive your 2026-2027 class schedule.
If you have questions or need support during July, please contact the MJHS Main office at 925-335-5820 or after August 2nd our school Registrar, Abbie Stenson, at astenson@martinez.k12.ca.us You will receive an email after you have completed registration. Save the Confirmation Email for when attending Bullpups Day on Aug 5, 2026. (Make sure to check your Spam folder). The email subject may read “Do Not Reply”

Complete Lunch Program Application (Important) 🥪
Each year the Martinez Unified School District asks parents and/or guardians to complete meal application forms. These forms are used for more than determining meal services. The state and federal governments use the income amount you report to fund Martinez Schools. Funds are used to provide math and reading intervention teachers, counseling and other mental health services, and technology. Not completing the form may result in less funding for Martinez students and programs. This form is available through the data verification process. Attend 6th Grade / New Student Orientation 🐾
In preparation for the big day, here are a few things to keep in mind:
This is a student only event. Students will be moving around quite a bit and should wear comfortable clothing. All supplies will be provided, though students can bring a water bottle with them. -
Cell phones are not permitted during orientation. Students with phones will be asked to check them in with an adult when they arrive.
Your student will receive a phone call on the parent/guardian number listed in Aeries from an 8th grade student leader the day before, inviting them to orientation. Students will not need their class schedule during orientation, though will receive a school tour. This is a GREAT time and opportunity for students to ask questions about MJHS life!

PREP for Bullpups Day - MJHS Webstore (MySchoolBucks)🛒
Log in to Aeries and write down your student's 10-digit ID number (begins with 100) -
The MJHS Webstore will be the place to purchase important items including: ASB card, student planners, Yearbook, etc. Additionally, it is where families can contribute to MJHS educational lab funds, campus support, and spirit!

Attend Campus Cruise 😎
We welcome our Bullpup families to take a self-guided cruise around campus and get a chance to:
Find where classes are located and practice your daily route Get comfortable at MJHS before the first day of school! **2nd chance registration opportunity for those who missed August 5th

First Day of School 🏫
First bell rings at 8:26 and class begins at 8:30 Early release Wednesday schedule: all students released at 1:36pm Breakfast service begins at 7:45am and lunch will be available to students (all students can receive one breakfast and one lunch for FREE all year!)
