Academic Success

STUDENTS

Are you struggling in your classes and with assignments?

  • Email your teacher to ask for help or comment on an assignment in google classroom.  Check in with teachers for availability to meet after school between 2:45-3:15.

  • Go to Academic Success to get help and complete assignments and get additional support.  Students will receive help staying on track, being organized, following through with completing their assignments, and getting extra help from our teachers and their peers.  Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at lunch in A113.

  • Ask your parent for support in completing your assignments.

  • Ask for a tutor.  Your Academic Counselor can match you up.  Email your academic counselor or show up for an academic success session.

Homework Tips

STUDENT PLANNER

Are you using your planner?

  • Online Student Planner
  • Use the calendar in google classroom
  • Write down your daily/weekly assignments so you know what you have to do. Break down big assignments/projects into many "mini-deadlines"
  • Use it as a tool, open the planner when you sit down and get ready to do your homework.  Look at it to see what you need to do for that day.
  • Check off your assignments as you complete them.
