Quarter 1 Check-In
Hey Bullpup Famiies,
At the end of this week, the Quarter 1 Progress Report cards were posted to the Aeries Portal for students and families to review.

As a reminder, the Quarter 1 gradebook continues with our students progress, but the Progress Report Card is a snapshot of where they were when the grading period ended.

To see how to access Aeries and report cards, check out these how-to videos:
We continue to work with our Bullpups around school-wide expectations, making good & safe choices and staying focused on learning.

As we were making our way to close up this week today, it came to our attention that several students were following along with a TikTok trend to cut and collect the ropes/cords attached to backpack zippers. While in their minds this was funny, please take a moment to check in with your students to reiterate the expectations that they should:
  • Never touch or deface anyone's personal belongings
  • Only use scissors in supervised settings, for the purpose of learning, and keep in your backpack unless directed otherwise by an adult
  • Lead with safety always
We are looking forward to visiting classrooms in the coming weeks to connect with all students and make sure all finish off Quarter 1 in a positive and productive way!

Wishing you all a great weekend ahead! 🌞

Take Care,
Ms. Cusack

Join Us Saturday, 9/28 for the MRC/MEF Run For Education!
The Run for Education is the signature fundraiser for the Martinez Education Foundation. The race began in 2002 as a 5K race with 200 participants and has grown into an event that has hosted more than 500 runners and walkers.  In 2023, we celebrated the 21st Anniversary of the MRC-MEF Run for Education and raised over $100,000!

All the proceeds from entry fees and sponsorships impact our students directly by being awarded to the Martinez Unified School District schools in the form of grants from MEF.

We are excited to announce the return of Family Fun Night! This event takes place the Friday before the MRC-MEF Run for Education as part of a weekend full of fun for all ages, to benefit the students and schools in the Martinez Unified School District.
We encourage all to attend. Family Fun Night guests, young and old, enjoy participating in an evening full of entertainment, games, food, drinks, silent auction items, a raffle – and Runner Bib pickup!
